These people are warped though. I doubt 99.9% of the pro-gun lot in america would turn a gun on anyone else.
But i also think it would be much easier, mentally, for someone to fire a gun at someone than slit someones throat with a blade, for example.

Again. I get that. I could see myself being armed, like the Ukraine situation but I know it would be hard to use the weapon on someone. Like all of the historical evidence suggests.

My reason for wanting to fire automatic rifles was that I'd have failed basic training and get my arse kicked by my Sergeant every time i went onto the firing range thereafter if I didn't.

I’ve said this before on here but I was once offered the chance to shoot a machine gun and I could find no reason why I would want to.
I would ask any shooter why they wanted to shoot a gun? What on earth made them think it was in any way a good idea?
